I am considering the new Birthday outfit. I love the dress, but don't care for the hat! I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the hat from the Fresh Flowers outfit would be cute with the Birthday set? Are they compatible color wise? If anyone has both, could you please post a photo? or e-mail it to me?

DD just got the birthday set last week. I think the party hat is cute! The problem with it is that the ribbon that goes under BB's chin is not elasticized and is a 1/2" too long for our BBs. So the hat does not stay on well.

The fresh flowers hat is a more dusty pink color than the birthday pink, which is more of a soft, fleshy pink. The dots on the fresh flowers hat make it too busy to coordinate with the Bday dress, which also has a busy pattern. And the FF hat is too casual for the Bday dress IMO. If you have the old pink and white checked bday dress that came with the little musical cake, the ribbon headband from it would look better than the FF hat.
